BACKGROUND STUDIES
Minnesota Statues, Chapter 245A, and Minnesota Rule 11 requires that background studies must be made of all individuals working in positions allowing direct contact with children receiving services from a program licensed by DHS. 

All Noah's Ark all staff members have current background studies and are qualified to work with children. 

Any parent who wishes to volunteer in the classroom or accompany the class on a field trip must complete DHS form 3037 well in advance of the activity. This form will be submitted to the Department of Human Services for background study processing.  Starting in 2011, the state now charges a $20 fee for each background study.
